What bugs me most of all…
May 7th, 2007 by Vlad
All the little nobody assholes in the IT community that exist for the sole purpose to complain. They never lift a hand to help anyone but themselves, take, take, take, take and have the maturity of a 12 year old to complain when everything isn’t served to them on a gold platter.
What really gets me is that even given all this free stuff I do for my IT community I am still accused of being too commercial. People feel that because they had to sit through a 15 second commercial they are both inconvenienced and justified in taking without giving back. “Your effort is just marketing, not a community contribution”
I don’t understand the entitlement, I really don’t. Moreso, I don’t understand the lack of respect for all that goes into putting this stuff together. Yet, I’m forced to defend myself and my company in public to some schmuck that calls himself a consultant yet can’t even put together a web site.
I’m no longer going to answer questions about my company/business/myself in public anymore. It’s sad that such a small number of assholes can be so demoralizing, ruining it for everyone. All I can say is thank Google for message filters, one more worthless piece of shit in the junk bin.

There are always going to be people that are jealous and resentful of another person’s success.
Because they lack either the ability to take a chance, a work ethic or just the talent that it takes to accomplish even moderate success they will have to tear down someone else’s accomplishments and minimize your impact.
Personally, I don’t waste time or emotions on losers.
Hey Vlad,
I know that you don’t need me to say this … or probably care that I’m posting this. But for the record, you are a huge influence on how my business will run in the future. And I know that means nothing right now.
I’m not sure where I stand in the IT Community picture, somewhere between a tech with no business accumen (or website yet … but I’m getting there) or useless nobody that does not have much to contribute (but I’m learning daily and will contribute when I feel my skills are adequate).
But no matter what, I’m sorry that those few people continue to refute or deny the contributions you continue to make. I know that for me, a tech for 8 years, you help me to work toward a new vision and challenge myself. And for that I cannot thank you enough.
Chris
