Partying with the Microsoft family
Jun 5th, 2007 by Vlad
This is the first post on my personal blog that can quite easilly fit into all categories. First of all, the setting – Microsoft UC family – thats us in Exchange, LCS (now OCS), few guys from TechNet and lots of engineers, PMs, etc. Kevin Engman, the community lead for the unified commnications group threw an awesome party, really nice to get into a smaller setting and have some good conversations.
There is always an exception.
Someone pooed in the urinal.
You read that right – someone in the mens bathroom couldn’t wait and they went #2 in the #1. Classy, straight out of South Park episode. Talk about a way to highlight the evening, watching five hotel workers working at the messy situation in the bathroom. Then they brought out what looked like a 40lb gallon jug of bleach. Yours truly had to go in and take a picture, where three supervisors were watching two guys trying to balance out a.. well… thing.. using long plyers. As the evening went on and we looked at the spectacle from the bathroom they finally handled it with a garbage picker-upper thing. Amazing.
This officially goes down in the book as the “weirdest thing that ever happened at a Microsoft event.” How do you poo into a urinal? How do you wipe? Where do you tug your… I dunno, I am puzzled by the logistics and the brilliance that went into executing this.

Really? This happened at CyberGate at least once that I know of.
Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurgh!
However, I did laugh and I did read this post out to the office.
Guess what they said?
“Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurgh!”
haha!
I think that I maybe able to answer some of your questions Vlad.
In this kind of scenario you don’t really think too far ahead and so no wiping is thought of, as for tugging I doubt you can tug as well as poo unless that’s your kind of thing……unless tug means something different in the US.
We had a phantom pooer in our university and this person managed to do what can only be described as Mr Whippy’s on three taps in a row! I guess it can be classed as a talent.
Where is the picture?
