The road life is rapidly coming to an end. I have a few more conferences and meetings to attend to over the next month but after I come back from Microsoft WWPC in Denver I believe the long deserved break will finally start.

And with it, some personality modification training, namely, learning how to say “no”. It is one of those cardinal words you never want to say in business but at some point things start to take a toll. Thankfully, I’m not at that place yet, but I’m doing something before I get to the burnout stage – namely cutting the field trips, speaking engagements and conferences for the coming year.

I’ve got to hand it to Katie for keeping me in check; The whole “You don’t get to start another project before the previous one is finished” method really works. The nice thing about that is that with the lack of travel I will be able to committ myself to longer projects.
